استاد نورعلی تابنده، قطب ما درویشان گنابادی، در اعتراض به ممنوعیت ملاقات درویشان با او و نگرانی از وضعیت درویشان زندانی، از چند روز پیش دست به اعتصاب غذا و دارو زده است. مجذوبعلی شاه خواستار رسیدگی فوری به وضعیت درویشان گنابادی در زندان است.
به دنبال انتشار خبر امتناع از خوردن غذا و دارو از سوی دکتر نورعلی تابنده»، قطب دراویش گنابادی، پس از ترخیص از بیمارستان جمعی از دراویش زندانی در زندان فشافویه (تهران بزرگ) اقدام به اعتصاب غذای دسته جمعی کردند.
محمد شریفی مقدم و دهها درویش حاضر در بند امن زندان فشافویه، در تماسی از این زندان، ضمن اعلام اعتصاب غذای خود گفته‌اند: ما جمعی از درویشان زندانی در اعتراض به اخبار و وضعیت نگران کننده‌ی قطب درویشان آقای نورعلی تابنده و رفع محدودیت‌های ایشان و بازگشایی حسینیه و مجالس درویشی دست از دارو و غذا خواهیم کشید.»
این منابع می‌گویند در پی بسته شدن حسینیه‌های دراویش در سراسر ایران، جلسات ملاقات و گفتگوی رودروری دکتر تابنده با دراویش لغو شده است.
دکتر نورعلی تابنده اکنون در سن ۹۳ سالگی در اعتراض به لغو ملاقات‌ها و همچنین نگرانی از وضعیت دروایش زندانی در زندان فشافویه از خوردن غذا و همچنین گرفتن دارو امتناع کرده است.

The hunger strike of Gonabadi dervish leader and a number of dervishes imprisoned in the Islamic Republic's prisons
Master Nour Ali Tabandeh, our monk at the Gonabadi Dervishes, has been on a hunger strike for several days, protesting the ban on meeting Dervishes with him and worrying about their prison condition.
Majzubali Shah wants urgent consideration of their Gonabadi Dervishes in prison. Following the news of Dr. Nour Ali Ali Tabandeh's refusal to eat and medication, the Gonabadi Dervishes went on a hunger strike after being discharged from the hospital. Mohammad Sharifi Moghaddam and dozens of dervishes in the safe section of Fashafuyeh Prison, through a phone call, announced their hunger strike: "We are a group of dervishes detained in protest of the disturbing news and condition of Mr. Nour Ali Tabnadeh and his restrictions. "We will give up drugs and food up until the reopening Husseiniyah and the Dervishes."
Sources say that the shutdown of Dravish Hussaini across Iran has led to the cancellation of Dr. Tabandeh's meetings with Darvish. Dr. Nourali Tabandeh has now refused to eat and take medication at the age of 93, in protest of the cancellation of appointments, as well as concerns about the prisoner's detention in Fasfoyeh Prison.
